Rehonna loved her family and friends and she loved the Lord. She was very comfortable around her cousins, who substituted as siblings for her since she was an only child. Holidays and special occassions were events, she looked forward to as there were times when family members and friends gathered together to share love, food and plenty of fun.

Surviving her memory are daughter, Rias Gilliam; grandmother, Bishop Johnnie M. Walker; aunt, Jawonia (Earnest) Morton; her beloved cousins, friends, Dawn, Shondria, and Jerron; special friend, Steven Gilliam and a host of other family and friends.

My heart felt prayers and condolences to the Brooks family. I loved Rehonna. She was a co-worker of mine, but also a very good friend. We shared the same birthday and if not for the Corona Virus I'd be there in person to pay my respect. Rest in Heaven beautiful Queen, see you on the other side.

Thinking of the times we were able to have little chats at work and how we spoke about how the Lord is so good. I am happy I got a chance to talk and laugh with Rehonna. I will pray for her baby girl and the tribe that surrounds her now. Rest on my friend until we meet again. Love Lives On!

I want to thank you Rehonna for all the talks we shared when I first started at Community Housing Network and the role you played with making me feel welcome. My prayers will continually be with your daughter that she know she was truly love by you and how excited you were to have her. You will be truly missed.
