Roger Anthony Adams, 47, was born March 26, 1972 in Toledo, Ohio to John & Ruth Adams. Roger passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at The University of Toledo Medical Center.

Roger dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and have always had active involvement. He was a member of Cornerstone Church in Toledo, Ohio. Roger received his education from Glenwood Elementary, Old West End Jr. High and attended Scott High School. He attended culinary school, as well as truck driving school and obtained his commercial driver’s license in 2014.

Roger was a very kind and loving man who loved the Lord, his family, cooking and music. He loved a wide variety of music but everyone that knew him, knows that he loved the groups Commissioned, Take 6, Loose Ends, The S.O.S. Band, and The Gap Band, as well as other greats such as Luther Vandross, Najee, George Benson, and Anita Baker just to name a few. Although Roger never boasted or bragged, and sometime even downplayed his skills, that boy could SANG! He had UNIQUE dancing skills and was an excellent skater. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Roger was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Lessie B. Adams, maternal grandparents Tommie & Esther Roper, and older brother Donald Ray White.

Left to cherish Roger’s memories are his parents, John and Ruth Adams; children, Denzel Adams Sr., Ravon Adams, Roger Adams Jr. & Abigail Ruthann Adams ( Pooh Bear). Stepchildren Matthew Shaw, Lexi Arnold, Troy Hill Jr., Tyler Jackson, Autumn, Stephanie, and Trent Hill and fiancé Rodell Arnold. Grandchildren Joshua Adams, A’nalyssia Adams, Jah’myia Adams, and Denzel Adams Jr. Uncle Joseph Herron.
