Condolences to the Burton family. Elaine called to speak with Ms. Rose Ann Jemison (age 101) in North Carolina who formerly lived on Mitchell Street in Toledo until 2015. Since living in NC, Ms. Rose looked forward to hearing wonderful words of encouragement weekly from Elaine. Ms. Rose was so happy to see the homegoing service. Elaine will truly be missed.

One memory of Aunt Elaine was when she took my sister Kim and I across town to a McDonald because the cooks there was all African-American and the food was good. We lived in New Jersey so to go back and tell our friends what we did in Ohio was exciting.
