Obituary

Mother Dorothy Dixon was born on November 17, 1930 in Alamo, Tennessee to Earlie and Virlean McMullen. She was the youngest of three daughters of this union. Mother Dorothy Dixon went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at her home in Dearborn, Michigan.

During this time she received the 1999 Home Health Aid of the Year Award for her kind, caring and loving manner. In the community she was a guide and listening ear for many who called her "MaMa Dorothy".

She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Dixon; sons, Patrick and Theodore Jr.; daughter, Barbara Jean; grandsons, Todd and Pierre; sisters, Hortense Fisher and Alberta Tatum.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Elder Calvin Talley of Saginaw, Michigan, George Talley of Toledo, OH., Pastor Frederick (Michelle) Talley of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughters, Pastor Patricia (Roy) Sullivan, Elizabeth (Marvin) Stafford both of Toledo, OH, Glynis (Michael) Roche of Dearborn, Michigan, and Michelle Dixon of Toledo, Ohio; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous relatives and friends.
