Obituary for Shawn Garrod Flowers
Shawn G. Flowers, was born on December 17, 1990, to the late Ernestine Flowers, in Toledo, Ohio. He was taken from us tragically and unexpectedly, at the tender age of 22, on September 25, 2013.
Shawn was a very sweet boy growing up and was very curious and happy. He was deeply attached to his mother and siblings, to the point where he wanted to follow them everywhere! He grew into a very respectable and kindhearted young man, who would do anything for anyone! He adored his nieces, nephews and GMA, and held a very special place in his heart for his siblings. He held his extended family in his heart and was deeply in love with his fiance', Angel.
Shawn was a beautiful person inside and out, who touched everyone he came in contact with. He had a great smile, kind demeanor, gentle heart and he was very generous.
Shawn will be sadly missed and remembered by all who loved him.
Shawn was preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Ernestine Flowers.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory, his maternal grandmother, Hazel Daniels; brothers, Brandon (S'Neta) Flowers and Ryan Flowers; sister, Donna Flowers; fiance', Angel Sharp; six nephews, Rymone, Myaih, Karl, Anthony, KiViyan and Javon; nieces, ZyKeirra and Alayla; great niece, ZaNaya Flowers, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Monday, October 14th at 6:00pm, preceded by wake services starting at 5:00pm at The House of Day Funeral Home
