Vera Mae Parker, 90 of King St. Toledo, OH, was released from this life on January 18, 2017 and now stands in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Vera was the wife of 60 years to Nearis N. Parker, Sr. who preceded her in death in June 2000.

Remaining to celebrate her life are her children; Nearis Parker, Jr., Barbara Parker, Phyllis (Darryl) Ham, Sharon Hobdy-Parker, Nathaniel (Pam) Parker, Mary Parker and Nicole Dixon-McLemore. Vera's grandchildren; Carl Williams, Joy and Darryl Ham, Jr., Faith and Jon Claude Parker, Adrianne and Davida Hobdy, Elizabeth (Demetrius) Hobdy-Williams, Kristy Cotto, Nathanel and Latisha Glover, Florence, Pebbles, and Regan Conley, Emmanuel Hadley, Elyssa Hobdy Dominique Savage, Imiani, Ebony and Nicholas McLemore. Sister; Rev. Ramona Woods of Clarksburg, WVA and Juanita Medlin along with a host of great grandchildren, neighbors and special friend; Janda Hollingsworth.
