The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jofre King can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Omgoodness! Im so heartbroken right now like Idek how to feel. I live in Atlanta now and my sister called me after Christmas to let me know you had passed but the news had your age all wrong so I payed it no attention bc im like no, not my friend Jofre. Not Jofre from Blum, not Jofre from Libbey. The sweetest and kindest guy I went to school with. Then my brother called me last night to say he got on Facebook to see your page say Remembering Jofre King and he rushed and called me at nearly 3 am. So I logged on just to see what I didnt want to believe. This is so terrible. You were the first guy to buy me carnations for Sweetest Day in High School. You were the first guy to stand up for me when I got picked on in school bc my family couldn't afford the best clothes and things and now im just crying to the memories we shared. I remember when Robert passed away and you needed a shoulder to cry on, like we cried together for hours on the phone. All you wanted was to be with your brother again and that was a very hard summer. I remember we used to share Roberts red and black coat in English class bc we missed him so much. We graduated together (COWBOYS) and we promised to remain great friends after that. I still have the card you sent me for my birthday in a photo album next to Robs obituary bc our birthdays weren't too far apart. (Mine is June 29) These memories, I'll never forget them. My sweet, loving and caring friend, my heart is shattering as I type this bc I just can't believe im typing this. I love you very much and please rest easy. God has you now. To his mother Sheila and the rest of his family, he was an amazing guy. I will never forget him or Rob EVER! They are finally reunited. Give Rob some love for me Jof and y'all hold it down. I know you two together again is straight comedy. Until we meet again Sleep in Heavenly peace
