Byron Edward  Scott
Byron Edward Scott, Sr., 52, of Toledo, Ohio, was released from life and was given his wings on, January 18, 2017, at Heartland of Promedica, in Toledo, Ohio.

He was born, November 20, 1964, to Eddie Lee Scott (deceased) and Artheldia Scott.

He attended Robert S. Rogers High School and graduated in 1983. He was known for running track and playing football.

Byron was employed through the City of Toledo for 24 years and St. Vincent's Hospital for 34 years. He was a people pleaser throughout his entire life. He always wanted to make others hapopy and make sure everyone was okay. He was also know for his great sense of humor.

Byron Scott was a very hard working man. Besides working, he enjoyed watching the University of Michigan play football, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie, grandmother, Ruth, grandfather, Herzoll, uncle, Walter, and nephew, Victor.

Byron is survived by his mother, Artheldia; daughters, Laeisha (Cassius)and Ashley (Mark); son, Byron, Jr.; sister, Sherrie (Dennis), brother, Bryan (Trisha); ex-wife and caregiver, Joyce Scott; granddaughters, Jaleyana, Tamaya, Calaya, and Niomi; grandson, Byron, III, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 11:00 am, preceded by a Wake, at 10:00 am, at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 2102 Ashland Ave., burial at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
