Pankie Jean  Michael (Michael)
Pankie “Jean” Michael was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on
June 25, 1962 to the union of Geneva Michael-Baber and
Rufus Earl Michael, Sr. She departed this life on November 2,
2016 with family by her side at Toledo Hospital, after fighting

She was preceded in death by her father, Rufus Michael, Sr.;
maternal grandparents, Irene and George Jones; fraternal

“Jean” as she was affectionately called by her loved ones. She
was educated through Toledo Public Schools and was a
graduate of Libbey High School, Class of 1980. She loved being
with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a long
time employee at Riverside Hospital.
Jean had such a loving, free spirit that we will miss dearly.
We will never forget her kind heart, her laugh, her smile, and
her love that she had for her family.
Even when she wasn’t feeling well, she always kept a smile on
her face and had the ability to make others smile. In her free
time Jean loved to go fishing, going to bingo and playing her
numbers. Jean loved to travel out of state to visit her family.
Her love for her family was immeasurable.
Jean leaves to cherish her memory mother, Geneva Baber;
