Condolence: I'm so sorry for your loss and that I wasn't able to attend any of the services due to no transportation. Your dad was always nice to me. I'd call him every now and then and we'd have a long conversation. The last time I talked to him, we had a few good laughs. He's gone but never forgotten. To all the family, it's not good-bye, just see you later. My sincere condolences to you all and may God comfort you through your loss.

Condolence: In 1951 my parents moved to West Toledo. In 1993 Felix purchased the house directly across the street from them. Suzy and I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and enjoying his company on our many visits from Colorado. A more gracious, caring, and giving neighbor I've never met.

Condolence: Felix was a wonderful friend and neighbor to my parents who lived directly across the street. They thought very highly of him and it seemed he would do anything for them. When my parents could no longer drive, Felix would come up to Detroit to pick me up at the airport and bring me down to Toledo. He always had lots of stories about his family of whom he was very proud and he remembered my children and always asked about them. He was tickled when I sent him canned salmon from Alaska. I will miss Felix. He was truly a gentleman and a fine person.

Condolence: What a beautiful man you`ve had family . I don`t know all about his life but I know some of it ! I don`t even know you, but I`ve heard much about you ! I`ve only known Felix for too short of time maybe, 6 years or so........ Just from the neighborhood .

I`m so glad I got to speak with him just a few days before he passed on his birthday . Laughing about the order in which the family passes !

Patty and I would stop and talk with him as we would pass by this place with our dog ( he called her "Pooch ' or Bow-wow ) Just make small talk, you know ! But he helped me learn about myself more than you`ll ever know . We talked he listened, he`d talk, we`d listen! We all came away feeling better for it ! The highlight of our nightly walk !

One Sunday we saw him walking back down Douglas Rd. at Monroe St., in a driving rain storm carrying two bags that he purchased at the dollar store clear up on Sylvania Ave. We recognized him from the neighborhood . We swung around and picked him up and gave him a ride home. This wasn't his blessing, it was ours, it started a friendship that would last for years .

He would call at times and just check in on us and we would think we`d better call Felix and check in on him we hadn't heard from him for a while !

What beautiful person , we`d love to have his" frail" hug from him right now .

God love you Felix , I`m certain that he does. He knows full well what He`s created .

Mike and Patty .
