Gregory Liggens

My fondest memory of my aunt came when I was a teenager in high school. I was over her house and we sat and talked as we often had. She brought up the sensitive topic of my absent father. She recommended that I should venture out to find and get in touch with him. I replied by saying "He's MY FATHER... He's older he should be reaching out to contact me." At that point she gave me two of the best words of wisdom and advice that I still hold close to my heart and mind (and even told others they should do). 1st thing she told me was "regardless of age, sometimes you have to be the bigger person". She followed that up with saying "You NEED TO get rid of that hate in your heart. It's not healthy and can literally cause damage to your mind and body". Those words were exactly what I needed to hear, not really knowing that subconsciously I had a lot of pinned up emotions regarding that topic. She touched my heart, mind and soul in so many ways which I am so grateful and blessed to have had (and will always have memories of ) her as my Aunt Gloria. Gone but never forgotten. Love always, Gregory Liggens a.k.a Your El Greco
