Obituary for Juanita Elaine Kynard

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the House of Day Funeral Service Chapel. Services will be held Saturday,July 18, 2015, at 9:00 am, at the House of Day Funeral Service Chapel. Juanita Elaine Kynard, affectionately known as Chaney, was born April 2, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to the union of Everett Burnett and Genevieve Bell. She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Cook Health Care Senior Living in Youngtown, Arizona. She was 78 years old. Juanita accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in the Catholic Church. At the age of 6, she made her First Holy Communion at St. Benedict where she also attended grades 1 through 8. She attended Libbey High School. She then went on to work for Coyne Textile Services, where she worked her entire career. She retired in 2002 at the age 65 with 46 years of loyal and dedicated service. Juanita was a devoted mother who loved her children unconditionally making many sacrifices for them. She also had a special affection for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Juanita had a special bond with her sister, Beverly Bell, which made them inseparable. Juanita continued her strong belief as a member of New Home Baptist Church. She took pleasure serving on the Nurse’s Ministry. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, dancing, and being surrounded by her family and friends. If you were blessed to know her you were left memories of laughter and her sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willie Kynard Jr.; son Charles G. Andrews; grandson Rasheed Andrews; sister Delores Wright and nephew Calvin Bell. Juanita Elaine Kynard leaves to cherish her memory her children Alohna Andrews, Pasha Andrews and Priscilla Kynard; grandchildren Danita Andrews, ArMand Andrews, Travis Gordon, Shawnte Andrews, Danny Armstrong Jr., LaTesha Kemp; great grandchildren Junaid Gibson, ArMand R. Andrews and Cairo Gordon; sister Beverly Bell; brother Lester (Celeste) Bell Jr.; uncle Johnny (Mamie); nieces Mary Helen (Gene) Kelly, Glenna (Terry) Gates, Dr. Elaine Folayan, Vanessa Bell (Dr. Anthony) Calloway, Jynean Bell, Althea Bell-Taylor; nephew Carlton Bell; brother in-law Leonard Kynard and Clarence Hines; godchild Velarie Wicks-Pettaway. She will be dearly missed by special friends Tommie Frazier, Liz & Gerald Gabriel, Lee & Verdell Turner and Marsha Matlock and host of other relatives and friends.
