Dorothy Day, Founder

Mrs. Day is a graduate of Tennessee State University, a Licensed Funeral Director since 1969, Licensed Insurance Agent, Notary, co-founder of the House of Day Funeral Service, and mother of Cassandra and Michael Day. A leader in her community, she is active in various community and civic affairs. Mrs. Day is an active speaker in area churches and a leader for women's rights. She is the author of a book of inspiring poems entitled, "Down, but not out", and is a retired teacher of the Toledo Public Schools, where she taught for over 25 years.
