Obituary for Vanessa Lynn Herron

Vanessa L Herron of Toledo Ohio was born on May 26, 1964 to the union of Guiden and Gertrude Herron. She was the youngest of twelve children.

Vanessa was a lifetime member of LoSalem M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Harvey Savage Sr. and present leadership of Pastor Lewis Savage.

Vanessa attended Toledo Public Schools. She later secured employment with Chase Bag Company in Toledo, Ohio until operations ceased. Their closure allowed Vanessa to begin employment with P&J Factory followed by Standard Wireway & Supply until she began experiencing health complications.

Vanessa Herron was a genuine sweet woman who valued love and family. Family was very important to her. She loved being around family whether it was a holiday or just a regular day of the week. Vanessa understood the importance of momentous moments. She collected all the family photos and always tried her best to make games, birthday parties and graduations. Vanessa was eager to see her loved ones succeed. She was a very hard working single mother that provided for herself and her only child Denzel. She was one tough lady who wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She enjoyed watching many sports;such as, football, basketball and wrestling. The Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes were her favorite teams. Vanessa's favorite past times were cooking, writing and cross word puzzles and when it came to music ... R&B was her choice. She was truly loved by many and will be missed, but never forgotten.

Vanessa is proceeded in death by both of her parents, brother - Reginald Horn, sisters - Annette Herron and Brenda Williams. She is survived by her only child Denzel "Booka" Herron. Her siblings Cody Packer, Angelo Packer both of Miami, Fl, Ronald Packer and Larry Herron of Toledo,Oh, Anthony (Yvonne) Herron from San Antonio, Tx, Tyrone Herron, Melinda Hickson and Cherie "Niecy" Herron all of Toledo, Oh. Best friend Annette Adams of Toledo, Oh along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
