Mr. Tyrone Alan Gregory was born, February 9, 1960, in Toledo Ohio. He departed this life and transitioned to glory on February 26, 2021, in Toledo Ohio. He was born to the union of the Edna Holt and Gilbert Gregory, on February 9, 1960, in Toledo Ohio.
Tyrone was a joy and known for his contagious smile. A graduate of Macomber Whitney High School. Tyrone enlisted in the U.S. Army and returned to Toledo after servicing his country for 10 ½ years. . He became a professional truck driver, his specialty was pulling tankers, on the road, for over 30 years, while he enjoyed the countryside making new friends. If you needed to know how to get somewhere, he had the route for you.
We know Tyrone never met a stranger. Tyrone was the proud partner of Gregory & Colbert Carwash Tyrone later retired and continued to live his best life. Tyrone loved to ballroom dance and had a way of talking to you to bring out the best in you. He had quotes that were famous to only him, "Stop It", "One thing fo sho", "2 things for certain..." and "I love my wifey"!!
A past member of First Church of God, Tyrone was spiritually grounded and loved to be among his family and friends.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and 2 nephews.
He is survived by his wife and the love of his life Tanisha Barnes-Gregory; children, Laron Gregory of Toledo Oh, and Deon Gregory of New York; sisters, EnVoinasia Ja Shaun of Columbus Ohio, and Katherine Stewart of Toledo Ohio; brothers, Greg Gregory, Darnell Gregory, Marcus Gregory, and special brother and cousin Roderick (Yvonne) Colbert all of Toledo Ohio; Two grandchildren, special friend, Daryl Whittaker and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
