Obituary for Sylvia Joann Belcher-Walker

Sylvia Joanne Belcher Walker ( Momma) age 84 passed away peacefully December 3, 2020 due to complications battling Covid-19. She was born May 28, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio to the Union of Mr. And Mrs. Joseph Benjamin Belcher, Sr. and Raymell Hinton-Belcher, both proceeded her in death.

Sylvia loved to spend her time at Casino with her Sister's Rose and Blondell ( The Golden Girls) especially taking the bus trips to Detroit. She also loved going to bingo with her daughter's Bobby and Tammy and hitting up the Internet Cafe. If you didn't see her there you might find her out shopping. If not she would either be at her kitchen table listening to Sunday Service with Profit WJ getting her blessings or relaxing on her front porch drinking her coffee with her sister Rose.

Sylvia was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and loved the fact that she not only had grandchildren but also great and great grandchildren. She took pride in her service as she worked many years and retired from Bingham Stamping. She was a strong determined and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her everyday.

Sylvia was proceeded in death by her four siblings: James Belcher ( Billy) , Lucille Portillo ( Jerry), Joseph Benjamin Belcher Jr. ( Junior), Blondell Lampkin Fulton (Bob). She was also proceeded in death by her daughter Loretta Marie Belcher.

She is survived by her ten children : Joanne Victoria Belcher Davis (Vickie), Beverly Ann Belcher ( Michael) Bey, Denise Belcher, The Twins; Donald Walker ( Ducky), Ronald (Brandy) Walker ( Wucky) Aka Frank, Anthony Lamar Walker ( Shug), Tammy Rochelle Walker ( Rodie), Donald Walker Jr. ( DJ), Donald Curtis Walker( Booba) and Dawn Marie Walker; 32 grandchildren and over 100 Great Great grandchildren
