Obituary

Stephen Lance "Magoo" Copeland was born July 10, 1952, to Yvonne Copeland and Michael Copeland. He received his wings on December 9, 2019.

Stephen served in the U.s Army and was honorably discharged in 1972.

He was a graduate of Woodward High School He loved to sing, dance and tell jokes. Stephen was a faithful member of the Worship Center, serving on the Usher Board. He was employed by Daimler Chrysler for 35 years.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Mason; father, Michael Copeland; sister, Loretta Willis; brothers, Fred and Jerome King, and Craig Copeland; and grandson, Christopher L. Eredics

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Bessie Copeland; daughters, Gwen (Mike) Eredics, Pamela Klucyzynski, Tynesha (Lareese) Barton, Jamella (Benjamin)Tatum-Antwi, Genise (Chris) Mack, Cynthia Monique, Renata and Janelle Tatum; sons, Cubia, Mike (Jennifer), Danny (Coleen), Steve Hannah, and Dominique Tatum; four brothers, Solomon Copeland, Phillip King, Henry King, and Chris Mason; five sisters, Faith Copeland, Anita White, and Patricia Lightner; one sister-in-law, and four brothers-in-law; 35 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, best friends, Larry Minter and Julius, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, his Daimler Chrysler Family, Detroit stop family, and Bishop Pat McKinstry and the Worship Center.
