Stanley Jones was called home on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 after a brief stay in Northwest Hospice of Toledo. Stan was born on May 7, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to William Temple and Frances Jones.
He was a 1965 graduate of Scott High School where he majored in academics. He enlisted into the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge after four years of service.
Stan was employed at Stump Machinery where he was a pant technician. He was married to Armentha Harris on May 10, 2008.
Stan enjoyed watching sports, playing pool, and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed home-cooked meals and eating snacks. He enjoyed being with the family and having fun.
Stan was preceded in death by his father; stepdaughter, Delseyna Swain-Anderson; 4 uncles, and 5 aunts.
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife and mother, Armentha Harris; mother, Frances; sons, Stanley Jones (Dara), Terry Jones (Lynette), and Jerry Jones (Lisa); stepson, Carlos Galloway; daughters, Priscilla Jones-Morgan (Kinneth), Annette Jones, and Michele Greene; stepdaughters, Celina Keith (Kenneth) and Stacey Galloway; 45 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren: special uncles, James Hammond and Robert King, and special aunt, Yvonne King.
