Obituary for Sarah Victoria Cisco

Sarah Victoria Cisco was born December 31, 1936 to the late Dave Keshaw and Mary Ellen Delaney in Grenada, Mississippi. Sarah loved cooking, housekeeping, gardening and spending time with her children. She joined Christian Temple Baptist Church June 1978 serving on the Usher Board, Seniors Ministry and Mothers Board.

Mother Cisco recognized her dependence on God for all the things that mothering required of her. She also knew that being in God’s Word every day would give her a renewed mind as well as the fuel she needed to make it throughout the busy hours with her children. Her favorite scriptures were John 3:16 and John 14:2. Her desire was to be an example and representative of God on how to live an upright Christian Life before Him; constantly praying to inspire and touch those she came in contact with to turn their life over to Christ.
Mother Cisco departed this life on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at the Regency Hospital. She was preceded in death by her son, Clauzell Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Sarah Williams, Dottie Williams, Barbara Williams, Palestine Williams and Rachel Cisco; Her sons, Oliver Williams, Jr., Oscar (Celeste) Williams, Otis Williams, Gregory (Sokha) Cisco; Sisters, Betty Delaney, Ruby Chong, Dolly Glover, Mary Griswold. Nineteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Special Friend Mother Corinne Jackson and her Christian Temple Church Family.
