Sanders was born on Nov 22, 1941 in Minter City, Mississippi to Shedrich and Cannary Weathers.
Sanders lost his battle with cancer on May 30, 2020.
He was employed at various factories in Toledo. He retired from The Dana Corp. He was an active member of The Trinity AA group, and served as their treasurer. He attended Jessup W. Scott High School. Pop was an avid reader and loved to study.
Sanders is preceded in death by both parents Shedrich and Cannary Weathers and two brothers Willie and Shedrich Jr.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister Katie Weathers, Uncles, Fred Weathers (Chicago, IL) and Walter Weathers (Greenwood, MS), Nephews, William and Albert Weathers, two great nephews, three great nieces.
