Sam Simpson Jr. was born September 4, 1951, at the University of Toledo Medical Center to Sam and Mary Crosby Simpson Jr. He passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, December 8, 2020
Sam Simpson Jr. gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined St. John C.O.G.I.C under the pastorage of Pastor Johnny Hobbs Jr.
He graduated from Spencer Sharples High School and soon after he met the love of his life, Sarah Jean Walker who immediately became his wife. To this union seven children were born Theresa, Billy, l Robert, James, Sharonda and Demetrius Simpson and his baby girl Samatha Simpson.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Crosby, father , Sam Simpson, Sr., sister, Willow Dean Simpson, 2 grandchildren, Richard Lee Villolovos and Shywain Marquis Lanier and a nephew, Tony.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 51 years, Sarah; children, Theresa, Billy, James, Robert, Sharonda, Demetrius and Samantha Simpson; sister, Willa Dean Simpson-Hamilton; brothers-in-law, Louis Walker, Cecil Walker and Jesse (Lisa) Walker; 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; nieces, Rose, Pat and Carmen; nephews, Carlos and Brian, and other family and friends.
