Rositta Banks was born on August 15, 1916 in Milan Tennessee. She departed this life on April 24, 2021. She was the fourth of five children born to Charlie (C. W.) Rodgers and Bessie Godwin Rodgers.
Rositta was proceeded in death by both parents and all four of her siblings, Catherine Rodgers Townsell, Betty Frances Rodgers-Frames, Mattie Bell Rodgers and Allen Adams Rodgers.
Rositta married Homer Banks on July 28, 1951 and no children were born to this union. Homer preceded her in death in 1971.
