Obituary

Reginald Wayne White 54, affectionately known as Reggie, joined the Lord the 28th of August 2020 in Toledo Hospital. Reginald was born in Toledo, Ohio on the 21st of March 1966 at Maumee Valley Hospital to the union of J.D. White Jr. and Bernice White. Reggie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Mount Zion Church of Christ Holiness of Toledo, Ohio.

Reginald attended Macomber Whitney and Jesup W. Scott High Schools, graduating from Jesup W. Scott High School in 1984. Reggie worked many years as a furniture restorer subsequently leaving due to disability.

Reginald was preceded in death by his son Monte Terrel Lindsay; parents J.D.
White Jr. and Bernice White and sisters Deborah Watson and Sharon White. Reginald is survived by his sons: Michael Brown and Marquise Lindsay; daughter Tasha Lindsay; 5 grandchildren; brothers: Virgil (Retha); Prentice; Stephen; Kevin (Darkisha) and Gregory (Diana) White; sisters: Stephanie (Alphonso) Jackson of San Antonio, Texas; Bernice White and Tanya (Marquissa) Watson-Mckinney; honorary brothers: Terrance, Robert and Tyrone (Shavett) Watson and Rufus (Andrea) Simmons; honorary sister: Angela (Larry) Glover; a host of nephews and nieces whom he affectionately referred to as “Honey Baby.”

Reggie loved his family and that love is reciprocated from them. We are forever missing you brother, until we meet again Rest In Peace.

First I'd like to throw my deep condolence to the white family I had no the white family since they stayed in thea bird is brown apartment complex on division avenue I went to school with some of the white family members Prentiss and Stephanie at gunkel school I have grew old and no the white family and their cousins Bobby washing and Terry wife cell went to school with them I like to say that I as I know the wife family as we was coming up in the 90s their father and mother accepted me into their family is just come around and hang out with their family and I very appreciate that Reggie hair grows stronger as friends as we got to know one another and hung out back-to-back I stayed overnight with them at their house hung out with Reggie and Prentiss and Greg and Virgil I really do appreciate y'all accepting me as a friend as a part of the family I thank you very much and I know that God is with you guys to be stronger through this crisis with your brother and nephews and cousin I also like to say that I'm very ill I have a little cough and a cold so I won't be able to attend the wake service in the funeral tomorrow but I apologize for that but I asked if any one of the family members can I keep me a bituary for Reggie so I can have for myself I thank you and may God bless you and be strong and y'all hang in there and I love you guys Mae reggy rest in peace thank you
