Obituary for Preston L. Adams Carter

Preston Lewis Adams Carter was born to the late George and Ruth Adams in Chicago, Illinois. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended the Lady of Laurel School and also St. Miliki High School,

Preston worked several jobs, Mile Square, security for Dominican College, and FedEx as a truck driver before retiring. He was a man of many trades. Preston was a loving husband, father and also grandfather. He was an outgoing person and outspoken person. Preston was also a loving person, with so much love to share with others.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Ronald Beck, son Preston Adams Jr., daughters Linda Adams and Patrice Moore, and step-son Andre Ward.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Andrea Adams Carter, also his children Renard Moore, Delray Adams, Tracey Cade, Tyrone Cade, Shannon Crenshaw, step-children Chiquita Neese, Andre McElroy, Bacard Clark, DeCarlo Clark, LaTonya (Ronald) Driver, James Toney Ward, Mack (Myrna) Ward, Monique Ward, sisters, Julia Sanders, Rebecca (Willie) Murdock, Harriett Beck, Shirley Beck, sister-in-law Elder Lola Beck, brothers Leroy Woods, Larry Adams, Vernon Beck, special grandchildren Warren Ward, Eli Antonie, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, special niece Arlene (Eddie), cousin Glendora Daniel, and Paul Jones.
