Oscar “Big O” Jones Jr., was born July 22, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio. Oscar passed away May 14, 2020 at The University of Toledo Medical Center.
Oscar graduated from Macomber Whitney and later became a Truck Driver for the U.S. Post Office and a Maintenance Engineer for the Largemount Apartments.
Big O loved to fish, playing pool, bingo, bowling, and being the life of the party.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar Jones Sr. and Sharon Jones., sister Shanna Jones and grandmother Doris Green.
Oscar is survived by his fiancé; Tracy L. Jones, siblings Joyce (Nathanal) Houston, Sherry (Renard) Oliver, Doreen Jones, Darryl Gaston, Albert (Sherri) Jones and Darrick Jones. children; Shaconda Smith (Georgia), Christopher Sr. (Senita) Smith, Marquise (Tabitha) Smith, ShaRhonda (James) Spriggs (Springfield), Shawonna Taylor, LaDraia Gullatt, Latisha (Johnny Jr.) Brown, Marcheas Finn, Montrice Finn, Tevin Jones, Octavia Jones, Ta’Vion Jones; seven step-children; eighteen grandsons, twenty-one granddaughters and one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
