Nova Lynn Lewis, four months old, passed away on February 7, 2020, at Toledo Children's Hospital.
Nova was born on September 13, 2019, at Toledo Hospital Children's Hospital in Toledo, OH, to LaTeasha Flowers and Nathaniel Lewis Jr..
Nova was preceded in death by her aunt, Brittany Flowers; grandpa, Robert Flowers Jr.; grandma, Dana Henderson; and granddad, Nathaniel Lewis Sr.
Nova Lynn was born at 22 weeks and five days, fighting all odds, being told that she was't going to make it, being that she was born four and a half months early. Weighing 1 lb. and 2 oz., little, feisty Nova (what the nurses and doctors called her).Nova has been through a lot, her four months on this earth. Even though Nova spent her whole life in the NICU at the Toledo Children's Hospital. That didn't stop this little premiee from touching hearts everywhere. She enjoyed her everyday cuddles with mommy and grandma. Nova loved to have books read to her, and watch cartoon shows (her favorite was Doc McStuffin) with mommy. Nova was a special baby. She gave so many people strength to keep fighting, because she didn't give up. Nova left the earth with over a million nicknames, from "pooh-pooh, button, Nu-Nu Princess, Tinker, moo-moo, Super Nova".
Nova leaves behind, her mother, LaTeasha Flowers, dad, Nathaniel Lewis Jr.; grandmother, Valerie Harris-Braswell; granddad, Nathaniel Fegan; uncles, Robert (India) Flowers, Darrius and Devon Lewis, and Antonio Fench; God dad, Devin Ivory ; and God mothers, Sa'Niyah Harris and Jerikka Waldrum, and other family and friends.
