Michael Anthony Spears was born August 10, 1957 in Toledo, OH to William Morris Spears and Beulah Mae Reed. Michael peacefully departed this life on April 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cheryl "Angela"Terrell, Brothers Christopher B. "Scotty" Barbour and Louis A."Joe" Barbour.
He leaves his only child Iris Spears (Vincent) and her children Isaiah, Syniyah, and Destynee. He leaves his special friend Patricia Smiley. He Leaves his sisters Beverly M. Stephens-Davis, Louise A. Hunter, Rita A. Barbour, Carla M. Barbour, Leslie K. "Kim" Spears, Deborah K. " Kathy" Twyman (Marlon), and Stephanie Lorraine Prowell. He leaves his brothers Eric Keith Barbour and William Morris Spears Jr. He leaves his special nephew and friend Benjamin Harold Stephens. He leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Michael attended Toledo public schools and Graduated from Scott High School. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. He spent several years in Mobile, AL and New York, NY before returning to his home town.
