Obituary for Mary Louise Fitch
Mary Louise Evans-Fitch, age 74, passed away July 6, 2020 at Laurels of Toledo.
Mary graduated from Woodward High School, and after High School, she began working until her illness. At an early age, mary developed a strong work ethic and always wanted to be helpful and she became a Nurse's Aide.
When Mary's older sister Elizabeth Evans Barnett, which was her best friend, passed away, she immediately stepped in in rasing, along with their father, two nephews, Rodney and Corey.
If you needed a helping hand, no matter if you were family or not, Mary was there for you. She was an amazing woman and her two nephews loved her beyond words.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Battle; father, Alexander Evans; sisters, Elizabeth Barnett and Brenda Evans; brothers, Alex Evans, Willie Evans, James and Eddie Jackson; special mothers, Cora Evans and Bertha Evans. Left to cherish her memories, nephews/ sons, Rodney (Yolanda) and Corey Barnett; brothers, Frankie Evans, Howard Evans, Paul Battle, Eddie Evans, Henry Evans, Jr, and Nate Jackson.; sisters, Linda Evans and Pam Evans, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
