Obituary for Mark David Wortham

Mark David Wortham, 17 was born on September 1, 2005, at the Toledo, Children's Hospital. Mark went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 21, 2023, at UTMC.

Mark accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Christian Temple Baptist Church, Toledo, Ohio. He was a student at Rogers High School, where he played J.V. Football for two years and ran track. Mark was employed at McDonalds on Holland Sylvania Road for 2 years. He enjoyed working and making money. Mark enjoyed watching basketball, you tube, listening to rap music and hanging out with his friends.

Mark was looking forward to getting his drivers license, getting his first car (Dodge Charger) and speeding around Toledo. Mark’s most prized accomplishments; was getting his “gold” grill and his numerous tattoos. Mark was a quiet young man, who had few words around adults, but had a lot to say around his peers.
My baby was always looking in the, whether it was at home or in the car. He always wanted to look his best for the girls.

He was preceded in death by his “special” dad, David John Smith, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mama, Dawn Wortham-Smith, grannie, Estella Wortham, uncle, Charles Wortham, William and Pamela Fitzgerald, aunt Marlene Walker, special dad and friend, Lee Williams, biological parents, Marvin Glenn of Cincinnati, Ohio and Tiffany Wortham of Toledo, Ohio, paternal grandmother, Lois Ware of Lima, Ohio, 1 brother, two sisters, and numerous relatives and friends in Toledo, Texas, Cincinnati, and Lima.
