Obituary for Marcus Raymond Walls
On Sunday, September 18, 2022, Marcus, surrounded by his loving family, left his earthly body and made his transition to his heavenly home.
Marcus Raymond Walls was born on April 17, 1981 to Margaret Walls and Michael Mack in Toledo, Ohio. He received his general education in the Toledo Public School system, graduating from Jesup W. Scott High School in 1999 ("Once a Bulldog...Always a Bulldog"). Upon graduation, Marcus attended Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina to study Business Management. Marcus returned to Toledo in 2001.
Marcus loved the lord and accepted Christ at an early age. He loved singing in the church choir.
He loved traveling and spending time with his friends and family. He loved to put a smile on people's faces and always enjoyed a good laugh. He was currently a General Manager of Jamba Juice in Chicago, Illinois. One of Marcus favorite pastimes was spending time with his two beautiful nieces, Jordan and Taylor Hughes. He was so very proud of their accomplishments.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Celebrating and Cherishing his memory includes his mother, Margaret "Liz" Watson; his father Michael Mack, both of Toledo, Ohio; three sisters, Thandi Hughes of Carrollton, GA; Michelle Williams (Walter Williams) of Toledo, Ohio; and Ariel Smith (Jamard Smith) of Pittsburgh, PA; four brothers, Michael Mack and Chris Agnes (Kimberly Agnes), both of Toledo, Ohio; Kofi Allen (Rashida Allen) of Phoenix AZ; and Ameer Allen of Denver, CO; five loving aunts, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
