Obituary for Marcus Antwione Hughes Jr.
Marcus Hughes, Jr. (Lil Marcus) was born on March 1, 1999 into the lives of Marcus Hughes, Sr. and Anetra Hutcherson in Toledo, Ohio where he later departed May 29, 2021. He was preceded in death with grandfather William McClelland.
At the early age of 8 Marcus gave his life to Christ and attended Church at Mount Zion Baptist Church with an aspiration, per Lil Marc to be a Sunday School teacher, deacon, and pastor all at once. He graduated in 2018 from Robert S. Rogers High School.
Growing up he loved spending time with family and friends. At the age of 16 he met the love of his life, his Fiancé Daryana Watkins their love presented and blessed the world with Marcus Hughes III.
His memories will forever be cherished by his fiancé Daryana Watkins, son; Marcus Hughes III, his mother; Anetra (Patrick) Madison, his father; Marcus (Samyrah) Hughes, Sr., siblings; Antonio, Tyra, Jeremiah, Heaven, Marshaun, Kuh'nieya, Kazinyr, Shyy, Taylor, Shyren and Deshawntae. Grandparents; Sharon Hutcherson, Patricia (George) Rucker, Arthur (Kynetta) Crosby, great grandmother Eirgie Hughes and a host of family and friends.
