Obituary for Marcella Rose Parcher
Mrs. Marcella Rose Vance Parcher, age 61, departed this life on March 24, 2020 at Toledo Hospital. Mrs. Parcher was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Lonnie and Doris Marie Vance.
She was an STNA for over 15 years at Brooke Haven Nursing Home. She also worked for Arbors of Toledo for 13 years. Marcella retired after serving her compassion for 28 years.
Marcella was the special kind of person who would lend you her shoulder to cry on, extend love and compassion to all she would come into contact with. She loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings.
Marcella was an active church member. She was on the #3 Usher Board, a member of the Mission Society and sang in the mass choir.
Marcella was preceded in death by her son, Mitchell; loving parents, Doris Marie and Lonnie Vance; step-dad, Leon Henderson; brother, Michael Ray Vance; and nephew, Brandon Sean Sanders.
Marcella leaves to cherish her memory: son, Michael D. Vance of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Lonnie D. Vance; sisters, Aleathea (Evert) Belcher of Toledo, Ohio, Mildred Sanders of Crawfordsville, Indiana; special companion, Gregory Parcher; special aunts, Louise B. Tyler. Amanda West, Cordelia Roberts, and Geraldine Watson. She also leaves to cherish her memory, a host of nieces, nephews, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
