Lula Belle Lawshe was born January 31, 1941, to Lula Red and Walter Johnson in Opelika, Alabama. She departed this earthly life on November 10, 2019, at the age of 78. She worked at various facilities as a Nurse's Aide.
Lula is preceded in death by her parents, Lula and Walter Johnson; John Davis Johnson, Mazell McCurdy, Walter Johnson Jr., Arthur Lee Johnson, and Viola Peters.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Cynthia Temple, Linda (Glenn) Williams, Dorothy Edwards, all of Toledo, Ohio, and Johnny Edwards of Pontiac, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, Shawn Temple, Marcus Temple, Delmont Edwards, Delwon Meredith, Delta Meredith, Consuelo Edwards, Sebrina Edwards, Jennifer Williams, Kimberly Rochelle, Yoland Edwards-Pargo, Willist Stevens, 28 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, sister, Mary Helen Hunter, of Pontiac, Michigan; special nephew, Jessie Johnson, of Toledo, Ohio, and a host of nieces and nephews.
