Obituary for Lucy Ann Frison

Lucy Ann Frison, 82 years born Killer Dale, Kentucky on January 25, 1939 to the union of Kaiser Mickles and AnnMay Miller. Lucy was raised in Toledo, Ohio. She was raised in Shiloh Baptist Church she was a nurse assistant at the church as well as an usher. She attended Oakdale Elementary and Waite High School. Lucy worked as an STNA, she become a nurse at Lourdes College Sister of St. Francis. Clarence and Lucy married in 1976 and had 6 boys and 2 girls. Lucy lost two boys and a daughter; in 2013 she lost her love her life Clarence L Frison. Lucy loved her husband and children. Lucy’s grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world and joy. Lucy passed away peaceful, soundly by her loving family on April 30th, 2021 at Toledo Hospital.

Mom was always made sure everyone was good before she was good. She was a loving person. She always made sure others were first. If you want to talk to, she was there. Mom always gave tough love; she raised good sons and daughter. She always made sure her grandchildren were taken care of. Mom had some really good friends; they called themselves The Golden Girls. These ladies had a place in her heart. The Golden Girls would have parties, pool parties; family reunions. Lucy was the life of every party. Her smile would brighten up every room she was in.

Lucy was preceded in death by AnnMay Mickels (Mother), Kaiser Mickles (Father), 4 sisters and a brother; her husband Clarence and sons Dwan and Dana and daughter Evonne. She is survived by 4 sons, Norman Mickles, Darnell Frison, Olice Frison and Jerry(Lisa) Frison and daughter Ronda Frison (Gary). Mary Frison (stepdaughter) Maria Watkins, Louis Watkins, Eletriest Harvey. Lucy has a host of grandchildren and great- grandchildren in Toledo, Columbus and Pennsylvania.

To my special son in law, Thank you for being a part of Mom’s life. She didn’t see him as a son in law he was one of her son’s Always there for her.-Gary
