Louis Deloney Jr., 61, years of age, passed away September 19, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born January 25, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to Louis Deloney, Sr. and Emogene Virgina Bowen. He was the eldest son of five (5) children.

Louis played basketball for Sexton High School in Lansing, Michigan and was an avid sports fan and loved basketball and football. He also attended Everett High School where he played a little street ball with Ervin "Magic" Johnson, but his favorite teams were LA Lakers, and Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.

Louis also did odd maintenance jobs for the church until he was assigned to Amazing Grace Church where he continued to serve God. He loved to preach and teach and was an awesome speaker, a man of many trades and very spiritually motivated, always full of joy and laughter. He loved his family and was a good husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He was employed by Unicast as an Iron Worker, and later went on to become self-employed as a Carpet Installer, Churches Chicken as a Cook until his health failed.

On July 14, 1979 he married Mary Means and to this union four beautiful children were born. In 1990 he joined in holy matrimony to Gwendolyn Stuart and they shared 2 lovely children and then he met and married his last wife Peggy Deloney.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane; grandson, Ke'Andre Deloney; and special cousin, Carmen Bowen.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Peggy; children, Louis III, Tyree, Tyshanta, Chareletta , Marcus, Byron, Jasmine, Leroy, Lawrence, Steve, Antonio; sisters, Donna, Charletta, Nicole and Lisa Deloney; brothers, Derrick and Duane Deloney; 20 plus grandchildren, special aunts, Alma and Lenore; step-mother, Christine Deloney; and a host of other relatives and friends.
