Obituary for Linda Carol Al-Jamal

Linda Carol (LA) Al-Jamal ascended to the stairways of Heaven peacefully from St. Vincent hospital on May 9, 2020. Linda C. Douglas was born October 19, 1951 in Chickamauga, Georgia to loving parents that preceded her in death: Fletcher Douglas and Mary Elizabeth (Bond) Douglas, cherished siblings; SGT. James Douglas Sr. and Brenda Sue Douglas.

Linda graduated from Macomber High School class of 69'. She pursued an education in healthcare as a nurse, graduating as an LPN and furthering that licence to be an RN in 92'. Mom was a hardworking individual for 49 years until her retirement in June 2019.

Linda, our matriarch, was a phenomenal, intelligent, strong, loving, big hearted giver who was committed to her family. A mother of seven children: Dawn N. (Lonnie Sr.) Graves, Fletcher D. Douglas, Heather L. (Christopher Sr.) Adamczyk, Justin L. Douglas, Melody J. Mitchell, Melissa S. (Montrese) Smith, and Don Calvin Williams II. On top of all of us she was able to care for others by assisting with their needs. Mom loved to shop, thrift stores were her favorite. She enjoyed visiting her family in Georgia when she could. Mom leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends she adored. Linda was a proud granny of twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren that she spoiled and loved unconditionally.

Linda Carol Al-Jamal is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Samih H. Al-Jamal, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

With a heavy heart her ascension to our father in heaven we welcome *Our Salutations* Us: "we love you" Her: " I love you more"
