Lance Juan Smith-Riccardi was born February 26, 1977 in Toledo, Ohio to Phylis Smith. At the age of 12, Lance was adopted by Dr. Vincent Riccardi. Lance gained his wings on August 8, 2020. LJ attended Start High School. He was the owner of Glass City Curbing. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend to many. Lance loved spending time with his children and spoiling them. Along with hanging out with his family and friends, LJ enjoyed cheering on his 49ers, shooting pool, and playing poker at the casino. He enjoyed trips to Detroit to try his luck at the casino. LJ always had expensive taste in food and clothes.

He is preceded in death by his mother Phylis Smith, grandfather Louis Riccardi, and brother James Abdul Waheed Wappner. He leaves to cherish his memory his father Dr. Vincent Riccardi, Children; sons Lance Jr, JaJuan, Jamonte, daughters; Lasha, Ladacia, Da’Najia, Jawanna, Amilliana, V’Nes, Brothers; Thelbert, Marty, Antonio, Danny, Mario, Joe, Christopher, Matthew, James,Tyson, Jamar, Amonte, Sisters; Tina and Tonya, 11 Grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, special friends; Fatina, Ashley, and Patrick.
