Obituary for LaCinda L. Perdue (Perdue)

Ms. LaCinda L. Perdue, affectionately known as “Cindy” to many was born on April 7, 1967, to the union of Leon and Barbara Perdue. She departed this life peacefully at the ProMedica Ebeid Hospice residence in Sylvania Ohio on January 25, 2021. LaCinda was born and raised in Toledo, OH where she attended Roger’s high school where she ran track, played tennis, and always excelled academically. Cindy graduated high school on June 16, 1985 and obtained her high school diploma with a 4.0 G.P.A. After graduating high school, Cindy was determined to further her education and began college studying the medical field of cardiovascular technology at The University of Toledo.

Cindy always carried a 4.0 GPA average during all of her college years and later in life went back to college and obtained another degree in 2017 from Ross College in Toledo, OH. LaCinda was a child of God who received the gift of the Holy Ghost at an early age. Under the leadership of The Bibleway Temple in Toledo, OH, LaCinda was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and received the gift of the Holy Ghost on January 18, 1987 under the witness of the late Bishop Carl S Mitchell. She joined Victory Temple now (The Empowerment Center) under the leadership of Bishop Charles C. Allen and was a faithful member for over 20 years.
LaCinda L Perdue raised three children as a single mother and did whatever she could to provide for, love unconditionally, and teach everything she could. She pushed her children to be the best that they could be no matter what.

LaCinda was an active member of the Westside Community Church under the leadership of Pastors Caleb and Ron King towards the end of her life and until the end never stopped trusting God and kept trusting by faith his will for her life. LaCinda enjoyed music, casino trips, hanging out with family and LOVED being around her mother and father. As we celebrate this mournful time, we find joy in the passing yet elevation of a beautiful soul who is now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

LaCinda Perdue is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Barb Perdue, spiritual father Deacon Felton Benton, and most recent favorite uncle, Lindell Perdue. LaCinda leaves to cherish her memory, her three children: Minister Marquis (Ebony) Kimble, Jacqueline R Kimble, Christopher P. Perdue, sister, Jennifer Nicole Perdue, brothers, Jerry and Angelo Perdue, Spiritual mother, Mother Milrean Benton, 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. On this day which would have been our family Matriarch’s (Barbara J Perdue’s) 76th birthday we celebrate a SAINT, a child of GOD, on her journey to now be at a place where there is no more pain, no more tears, but to be resting in the arms of Jesus Christ for ETERNITY!
