Obituary for Kim Lee Taylor

Kim Lee Taylor 64, lovingly known as “BK” passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Kim was born to James and Doris Williams on June 12, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Toledo Public Schools and was a proud Scott High School “Bulldog”.

Kim accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior as an adult and became a member at Bibleway Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Carl E. Mitchell, where he served as Youth leader, Sunday school teacher, and also served in the men’s ministry. He later became a member of the River of Life Church under the pastorate of his younger brother Bishop John Williams.

Kim loved his mother, son and siblings and was known for always giving, caring, and providing for his family.
Kim demonstrated a strong leadership ability at a young age and was very successful in business. His working career started at eleven years old at Shammy’s Meat Market. Kim moved to Los Angeles, California where he worked as a manager for Salma & Abe’s Appliances in Century City “Avenue of the Stars”. He also worked as a manager and a top salesman for Martinell’s Electronic and Video store in Beverly Hills, California, where he met and became well acquainted with various movie stars. Kim returned back to Toledo where he became a manager at Synco USA printing company until he retired.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Milton Williams and brother Steven L. Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Mother; Doris Williams Johnson, son Keion Lee Taylor and granddaughter Jordan Lee Taylor of Menifee, California; three brothers; Keith (Yvonne) Williams of Thousand Oaks, California, Mark (Kimberly)Williams and Jonathan Williams. Half -brother-James Haire of Copperas Cove, Texas. Six sisters; Tonya Crawford, Crystal Henderson, Lydia Williams, Stacey Williams, Tara Williams and Tina Gaston. God-Brothers/Sister; Yuseff Woods and Rodney(Kimberly) Thompson, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
