Obituary for Khalid Malik Denton

Khalid Malik Denton, was born on April 30, 1993 in Toledo, Ohio to Jeanneen R. Williams. Khalid attended River of Life Church where accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He was known to lean on his faith at all times. Khalid attended Robert S. Rogers High School and Owens Community College. While attending high school Khalid participated in the choir and drama club. Khalid loved music immensely. So much so that he would randomly send songs and song lyrics to his family and friends.

Khalid's love for the Lord was unmatched. He went on to minister through Mime and singing in the choir. If Khalid did not know anything else, he knew how to reach the Throne of Grace through prayer.

Khalid was a gentle giant. He never met a stranger and always left a lasting impression on everyone he came in contact with. He was known for his big bear hugs, encouraging words, and respectful demeanor. His humble spirit, his genuine heart, and infectious smile were his super powers.

Above all, Khalid enjoyed being a wonderful father to his daughter. Khairé was his heartbeat and the apple of his eye.

Khalid Malik Denton, ascended from this natural life prematurely alongside his fiancé, LaKwanda Antinette Brown, on November 28, 2022. Khalid was a dedicated and devoted father, son, godson, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Khalid was preceded by his maternal grandfather, Clarence Williams Sr.; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Williams; great grandparents and uncle, Andre Kimbrough.

Khalid leaves to forever cherish his memory, the love of his life his beautiful daughter, Khairé Maát Denton; mother, Jeanneen R. Williams; father, Alejandro Williams; godmother, Tiffany I. Clint; bonus mother, Teressa A. Hickson; grandparents, Floyd and Deborah Perrin; sisters, Deja White and Alexis Williams; brother, Alejandro Williams; god-siblings, Christopher, Christion, Annalyse and Alanna Scott; his angel in human form, Twila Y. Page; bonus children, Tyrone Hoskins, Tyronne Hoskins, and Onesty Carter; his best friends, Shadon Allen, Tony Peppers, Darrius Crisp, Trevon Perrin, and Octavia Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
