Justin Ryan Hughes was born in Toledo, Ohio, on February 5, 2005. He passed away August 16, 2020.
He attended Horizon School. He became a high school student at Jesup W. Scott High School. (Once a Bulldog, Always a Bulldag) where he would have been a sophomore this fall. He was very athletic, being on the football and basketball teams. He loved playing sports and he loved playing his games.
Justin had an old soul. He was raised by a beautiful, God fearing, mother, Queen Barringer.
Justin gave his life to Christ and was baptized on October 5, 2015 at Greater Faith Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Melvin L. Barnes Sr. He later became a member of Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Duane C. Tisdale.
Justin was a bubbly young man, when you saw him, he was always smiling, being silly, and just having fun. He had a great love for his family and friends, and loved being around them. Justin had just gotten his temporary driving permit.
He was very ambitious. He wanted to go to college and play basketball. He always wanted to to do good for himself, he had an old soul. Justin was loved by everyone who knew him. He will truly be missed.
Justin's memory is cherished by Queen Barringer; siblings, Roy Barringer, Sandra Barringer, Shirley Jones, Vickie Wilson, Artis Wilson, Bell Wilson and Melvin Hughes; special cousins, Roy Barringer, Jr. and Dominick Wilson; and a host of nieces, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, and a special thanks for all the help and support to Karen Braswell and Dominique Barringer-Robinson.
We'd like to thank Ciara Hughes for giving birth to such a great young man.
A young king gone way too soon.
The family thanks everyone for your love and support during this very difficult time.
