Obituary for Joseph Deontra' Terrell Hague-Elbert

Joseph Deontra’ Terrell Hague-Elbert, 30, passed away unexpectedly at Flower Hospital, Sylvania, OH, on June 14, 2020. He was born May 26, 1990 to Nichole Ramey and Floyd Hague.

Joe graduated from Springfield High School, and Penta Career Center Marketing, class of 2008. While in school he was active in JROTC, Band, Football, Track, Wrestling and Drama Club. It wasn’t uncommon for him to be at the school from 6:30am to 10:30pm. He also attended a wresting summer camp in Pennsylvania and a drama summer camp at Bowling Green State University.

Joe was a member of Cornerstone Church, Maumee, OH volunteering for events, such as the WOW Jams. He was a valued employee at the Spring Meadows Burger King.

Joe was a people person. Raised in a multi-cultural family, church, and schools, it didn’t matter a person’s age, gender, race, religion, position in society, he could flow with anyone. He appreciated his time with his brother John and sister Jasmine. Home is where he enjoyed being comfortable and secure.

He enjoyed movies, anime, reading, audio books, and video games and enjoyed a wide range of music. Favorite places to visit were the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum, The Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village and Cedar Point.

Joe leaves behind his Mother, Nicole Ramey, Father, Floyd Hague, Maternal Grandparents Terry & Sharon Neifer, Paternal Grandparent Christy Lynn Hague, siblings John Hague, James Hague, Jasmine Ramey, Kearia White, Alecia White, and Micha Perkins.
