Mr. John "Johnny" H. Gaines, Jr., was born on, November 25, 1952, in Sumner, Mississippi, to John and Bertha Gaines. He departed this life on, December 26,2020, in his home with his loving wife by his side.
He was employed with T & H Transport, until his illness. Johnnu was a retired Truck Driver, for 10 years. He worked on semi trucks as a mechanic, which became his passion.
Johnny loved spending time with his family.
He was prceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard and George Gaines.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Bobbie Gaines; sons, Markus Gaines, Antwoin White, Jermain Smith, Keith White, Tavaras White, Juaquin Gaines, Carl Steward and Richard Steward; daughters, Marsha Gaines, Lawanda Thomas, Yolanda Butler, Kemoni White and Toni Steward; brothers, Raymond Gaines, Kenneth (Tarra) Gaines, Mark (Amy) Gaines; sisters, Bertha Radford, Lillie Gaines, Christine Gaines, Lois Gaines, Lola Wright, Sharlene (John) Kight, brothers-in-law, Abe, Lennon and Carl Steward; sisters-in-law, Annie Franklin, Mary Bourn and Carolyn Steward; special friend, John Toyer and a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren (too many to count).
