Obituary for Jeryll Tyler Allen
On November 17, 1986 the Lord blessed Laura Murray and Steven Gilmer with Jeryll "J-Hood" Allen. He gained his wings on March 22, 2021 to be with the Lord.
Jeryll attended high school in Massillon, Ohio where he successfully received is high school diploma.
Jeryll was known for his bright smile and big heart. He loved pleasing his family and friends and would go above and beyond to do so. Jeryll worked in construction/houses and excelled in his entrepreneur business.
Jeryll is preceded in death by his older brother, Arvel; grandmothers, Fannie Allen (Joseph) and Mattie (Lawrence) Gilmer; and aunts, Shirley and Betty Brown.
Jeryll leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Mahogoney "Mae"; mother, Laura (Theron) Murray; father, Steven Gilmer; three children, Jeryll Elijah, Skyler and Omega Allen; two step-children, Ezra Womack and Marlee Fleming; six sisters, Arlena, Ametha, Hope, Stephanie, Tyesha, and April; five brothers, Anthony, Donte, Stephon, Steven, and Rico; god-brothers, Lawrence and Desmond; special friends, Shard, Jaye, Bryan, Marcus, Quis, Troy, and Rick.
