Obituary for J.C. Mainor
On Monday November 16, 2020, JC Mainor, loving husband and father of five children, passed away the age of 78.
JC was born on March 20, 1942 in Yazoo City, Mississippi to Willie and Canary (Stuckey) Mainor. He served in the Army from August 1967 to March 1969. He married Renee Berry. They raised two sons, Lavon and Cedrick Berry, and three daughters, Sharita and Raushann Mainor and Tijuana Cox.
JC loved to bird watch while drinking his coffee everyday. He had an infectious smile and a kind and compassionate spirit.
JC was preceded in death by his father, Willie; his mother Canary; and his daughter, Sharita.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Mainor; his four children, Cedrick (Jenny), Lavon, Raushann, and Tijuana.; his brother, Clearance; two sisters, Lurine Miller and Doris Mainor; a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
