Obituary for James M. Bowman
James Moses Bowman, our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son, uncle, cousins, and friends. James was born March, 6, 1933 to the late Mose Philip Bowman and Florence Bowman in Greenville, Mississippi.
James moved to Chicago at a young age, where he worked as a carpenter.
James enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, playing cards, listening to music, and he also enjoyed volunteering at the alpha towers, where he lives.
Memories of his life was shared by Francina Watkins, Chancetta Watkins, Antonio Dinkins, Florence Watkins, the late Kenneth Jackson, Sr., April Sneed, Arkina Sneed; grandkids, Re'Sean Watkins, Aa'Ren Dinkins, Monique Moore, Montrese Moore, Kenneth Jackson, Jr., Arkina Sneed, Aarion Sneed, and 7 great-grandkids.
He loved his family and friends and he'll be missed by all that knew him.
