I had the pleasure of having JD in my photojournalism class in Fall of 2019. Many have mentioned his smile and that I definitely remember. I also remember that for his final project, JD choose a day in his life. His photo essay began with multiple photos of his children. I also remember his showing me photos of his kids that were on his phone. Whenever he talked about them, he lit up. JD was a wonderful young man and I'm so very sorry for your loss. In his obituary, I read that he accepted Christ at a young age. That tells me he is with God now and while that doesn't take away your pain, I hope the knowledge that he lives eternally helps ease your burden. May God bless all of JD's family and friends. He will be missed.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would intervene to solve all mankind’s problems even sickness and death. (Revelation 21:3,4 & Daniel 2:44).
