Obituary for Irma Middlebrooks
Irma Jean Middlebrooks entered this life on July 12th, 1937. Our Heavenly Father called her home on July 27th, 2020.
She is preceded in death by her (Husband) Charles Edward Middlebrooks Sr., (Mother) Mary Lee Harris, (Grandmother) Bellulah Chambliss, (Cousins) Henrietta Marie Harris and Kimberly Ann Harris. Irma graduated from Sparta Township Highschool in Illinois in 1955. Shortly after she moved to Ohio where she made Toledo her home. She later met Charles in which they sealed the deal in 1957 as Husband and Wife.
Ms. Middlebrooks loved the Lord and gave her life to him at an early age. She shared her anointing voice every Sunday morning at Church where she also taught Sunday school. She enjoyed sewing, gardening & bowling, subsequently she belonged to a bowling league. She decided in the early 80s to go back to school in which she attended the University of Toledo and Owens Community College, she studied early childhood development. She took that knowledge and became a Teacher's Assistant for Head Start and that is where she retired from in 1998. Nanny was a phenomenal woman with lots of unconditional love that she shared not only with her family but also with other families as well.
Irma leaves to cherish in her memory her 3 children, (Daughters) Terry Lee Jefferson, Kendis Arlene Middlebrooks, and (Son) Charles Edward Middlebrooks Jr. She nurtured and cared for while raising her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. In all she has 10 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.
She will definitely be missed, loved and cherished by all.
