Harry always enjoyed being an active church member wherever he attended. One of Harry’s delights was becoming a charter member of Omega Epsilon Chapter and Delta Epsilon Chapter the undergraduate chapters of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. at the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University, respectively. Following in his father’s footsteps, he was proud also to share being Omega man with his twin brother and both sons.

Another passion for Harry was serving on the Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) board serving as the board chairman for many years. In 2015 because of his dedication to the agency, he was honored to have the urgent care portion of their newest addition the Nexus Health Care, named the Harry Brown Sr. Urgent Care Center.
