Gloria Jean Ellison Cole-Cooper was born on December 20, 1948, 1962 in small town Midiville, GA to John Saunders and Mary Gresham (Ewell Ellison). Our Heavenly Father Called her home on August 4, 2020. Gloria was a faithful member New Hope Baptist Church of Lexington, KY, under the leadership of Reverend Bobby Long, where she was baptized and committed her life to Christ. On August 14, 2010 was one of the happiest days of her life, that was the day that Lonnie Cooper made her his wife. Lonnie wants you to know you were his “Sweet Pea” and he will forever love you and miss you. He said to let you know he will be buying a gold chain so that he can where your wedding rings next his heart.
Those that knew her certainly understood she was one of the most charismatic persons they had ever met. She lived life on her terms. She was proudest of her children and grandchildren. Her spirit was always wrapped in the joys of life she loved her NAILS, music, cooking, bowling, playing cards and watching “Wheel of Fortune & Texas Walker.”
